COMMERCIAL roof trusses

Manitoulin Truss Co. Ltd. produces many different styles of trusses for commercial truss systems. Due to engineering concerns we prefer to produce our commercial truss designs from either engineered drawings (blueprints) or profiles generated by licensed engineer. We can however work with you on our advanced design system to produce drawings to meet your requirements. Many of our profiles shown in our residential roof truss page are similar to the profiles which we can generate to meet your commercial roof truss requirements.

TRUSS ORDERING GUIDES

Things to include with estimate when ordering trusses:

1. Span - or bottom chord length of truss

2. Pitch - roof slope of truss requirments

3. Overhang detail - the horizontal distance from the end of the bottom chord to the bottom edge of the top chord.

4. Additional information  required to design your roof system must be specified on your blueprints which are required to get a building permit. This information should include such things as: Is your house clad with brick or siding, locations of vaulted ceilings or types of overhangs required.
