Our primary engineering service for
our roof truss designs, LVL beams and I Joists is provided by Jager Building
Systems located in Bolton, Ontario.
Manitoulin Truss Co. Ltd. is
supported by Jager Building Systems engineering services, which provides
sealed engineered drawings for all products sold by Jager Building Systems.
For over 50 years, Jager Building Systems Inc has been a significant
manufacturer and distributor of engineered wood products for the wood frame
construction industry in Canada and the United States.
JBS manufactured engineered
products such as JSIT Joists, Jager SpaceJoist™ Metal Webs & Jager SK/JAHS
metal truss connector plates. All products manufatured by Jager Building
Systems Inc. meet or exceed the latest versions of all applicable codes and
standards.
JBS Engineering ensures that all
JBS software complies and adheres to all the lates structural and regulatory
rules and design standards in Canada and the United States.
JBS believes that adherence to
National Standards is important to the well-being and safety of the public.
National Standards provide uniformity in design methods and is based on the
latest information from research, tests, studies and experience.
As contribution and support to the
industry, JBS engineers serve on various Codes & Standards committees in
Canada and U.S. They provide input, guidance and experience in the
formulation of codes relating to the building construction industry.
Currently, JBS engineers represent
JBS and serve as members of such Codes and Standards committees as CSA,
ASTM, TPIC, WIJMA and others.
